Physical Therapy is a safe, non-invasive and hands-on treatment approach to relieve pain and restore proper function and movement of your body. Physical Therapists are medical experts in treating musculoskeletal conditions i.e. injuries or pain in the joints, ligaments, muscles, nerves, tendons, and structures that support the limbs, neck and back.
Physical Therapy can help you recover from an injury, surgery or chronic pain. Physical Therapy will help you decrease pain, improve mobility, increase strength and flexibility, and restore function for activities of daily living, work, and athletics. Our physical therapists evaluate your movement patterns, identify the root cause of your pain, and work to eliminate it.
Pain medications simply mask your symptoms; they don’t treat the root cause of your pain. Chronic use of pain medications sensitizes a portion of the nervous system and modifies the way your brain and spinal cord interpret pain signals. If you take chronic pain medications for a long time, your condition may actually get worse.
We provide Physical Therapy for a wide range of injuries and conditions. Our services are comprehensive and meet the needs of all adults, seniors, and pediatric patients. We specialize in Orthopedic, Spine, Hand, Pre/Post Surgery rehab, Pelvic Floor, Neurological and Pediatric Physical Therapy.

Similar to any other service or product, there is a spectrum of quality & skills you will find in Physical Therapists. For a long-lasting and effective treatment program we recommend you consider below when choosing a Physical Therapist.
Clinical Skills – All Physical Therapists go through the same education and licensing procedure. However, expert Physical Therapists take continuing education courses every year and get certified in various conditions and techniques. Board Certified Specialists (e.g. OCS) have greater depth of knowledge and advanced skills.
Experience – The human body is very complex and individuals respond differently to each intervention. An experienced Physical Therapist will be able to adapt quickly and customize treatment specifically for your body.
One-on-One Time – Physical Therapy treatment is performed using a combination of manual therapy, therapeutic exercises and modalities. Doing the exercises correctly can make all the difference and speed up your recovery. You should receive undivided attention & commitment of a Physical Therapist during each treatment session to get the most out of your valuable time.
Open and honest communication between you and your physical therapist is critical during your recovery. Unlike group therapy, private one-on-one treatments make it easy for you to discuss your concerns with your Physical Therapist. It also ensures you don’t feel awkward during treatment and allows your body to respond without any restrictions.

Physical therapy is not meant to hurt, but to relieve pain. However, as you restore your mobility, pain levels can fluctuate. You might experience some temporary soreness from using muscles that are weakened or recovering. This is a normal response to therapy treatment – ‘Today It Hurts, Tomorrow It Works’. Good communication with your therapist will help minimize any discomfort.
A large number of women suffer from pelvic floor dysfunctions such as Incontinence, Pelvic Floor weakness, Pelvic Pain, Bowel Dysfunctions, Lower Back Pain, Hip Pain and Sexual Dysfunctions.
Pelvic Floor, like any other area of our body is composed of bones, muscles, ligaments and fascia, along with some vital organs. Dysfunctions in the pelvic floor can therefore create issues in these organs as well. With a thorough assessment, our Physical Therapist will evaluate any muscle imbalances or fascial restrictions in the pelvic floor which may be creating your symptoms. With both external and internal (per-vaginal) techniques, these restrictions/ weaknesses can be alleviated, in turn resolving your symptoms. Biofeedback equipment may also be utilized to give you instant feedback on muscle recruitment, strengthening, etc.

Deep tissue massage involves applying firm pressure and slow strokes to reach deeper layers of muscle and fascia (the connective tissue surrounding muscles). Deep tissue is recommended to help relieve stress, reduce pain, lower blood pressure and heart rate and break up scar tissue.
Swedish massage the most commonly offered massage technique, because it is gentler than deep tissue massage, and recommended for people wanting relaxation. The technique reduces muscle tension with the use of long, soft strokes to release muscle tension throughout the entire body.
